Ram Gopal Varma, who is popular for his sensational tweets, is once again in the news. This time, the "Satya" director took a dig at Rajinikanth's "boob" job in his upcoming film "Kochadaiiyaan."

Looks like Varma is not at all impressed about how Rajinikanth's look has been portrayed in the 3D animation film, which is touted to be India's first project to use photorealistic, motion capturing techniques.

The ace director posted a message on his Twitter handle saying, "My prob with Kochhediyan is I luv Rajnikant's boobs how they r n I really don't undrstand why he wants to enhance thm through 3 D animation."

Soon, fans reacted to the director's post. While some fans laughed it off, some others were not happy with the comment. One person asked the director if he was drunk. However, Varma has not reacted to any of the remarks posted by the fans.

This is not the first time that the director has taken digs at film stars. Few years back, Varma drew flak for his comment on Amitabh Bachchan. "Just watched Bbhuddah and I am. angry with Bachchan that he is such a ch**iya not to do films like this and am such a l**** not to realize this. Just saw some scenes of Bbhuddah and I am fu***g super angry with the f****g angry man for not doing more films like this all these f****g years," he had tweeted.

Later, he tweeted, "For the people who took offence to my language I am rephrasing my compliment...Bbhuddah is a very nice film and Amitji has acted very well."

The director was going through a rough phase with many of his films failing to set the cash registers ringing. However, his last release "Rowdy" starring Mohan Babu and Vishnu was critically acclaimed as well as commercially successful. He is ready with his next project "Patta Pagalu," a horror flick, starring Rajasekhar and Swati Dixit. The film is expected to hit the screens soon.

Superstar Rajnikanth may have romanced many heroines onscreen with much ease but he did face awkward moments shooting for his daughter Soundarya’s debut directorial venture ‘Kochadaiiyaan,’ the filmmaker revealed today.

“He felt very awkward during romance scenes with Deepika Padukone (the film’s heroine) with me saying ‘action’ and ‘cut’,” Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin told reporters here announcing a tie-up with mobile maker Karbonn.

While Rajnikanth as “appa” (father) was very protective, “he was very very professional” as an actor and this was very much evident during the making of the movie, being completely shot on motion-capture technology, she said.

The superstar supported her like most new directors, she said while recalling her experience directing him.

Asked if she would direct her father in another film, she said she would be happy to do so. “I feel blessed and grateful to direct him. If God is
kind enough, I shall direct another film” with Rajnikanth, she
said.

The “high-budget” film had been missing its earlier release schedule due to the ongoing technical processes in the making of the movie, she said adding the audio launch would be held here on March 9.

She said she will announce the final release date later. Unveiling its assosication with the film unit, Karbonn Mobiles announced the ‘Karbonn Kochadiyaan Signature Phone Series,” which will among others, have a signature of Rajnikanth on the back cover.

It would also offer exclusive ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ movie content including the Augmented Reality App, songs, videos and screen-savers to consumers.

Company Chairman Sudhir Hasija said it took six months to create the reality app but declined to quantify the expenditure saying it was part of the ongoing research and development (R&D) work.
