Gay love: Girls who like girls
Why is being homosexual considered 'criminal'? At least the government suggested so, after reopening Chapter XVI, Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code on December 11, 2013. It effectively criminalised sexual activities "against the order of nature", including homosexuality.
This was a setback for the LGBT rights movement. The government called homosexuals a 'miniscule minority' and this has only spurred on a community that's been fighting for their rights for decades.
While addressing the obvious hurdle that was the recent ruling, Cosmopolitan also tries to debunk common lesbian myths and setting things (that need it) straight once and for all.
