DYFI activist arrested over FB post against PM Modi
Kollam: An activist of DYFI, the youth wing of CPI-M, has been arrested here over a derogatory Facebook post against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rajeesh Kumar, an Anchal-resident here, was arrested on Tuesday over a complaint by some RSS workers against his Facebook posts.
As per the complaint filed at the Anchal police station, Rajeesh posted to his Facebook account an image of the Prime Minister along with Mata Amritanandamayi with the caption, “spiritual entrepreneur with entrepreneur of death.”
The complainants also accused Rajeesh of posting contents insulting the Prime Minister and some other posts that were of hurting religious sentiments.
Though Rajeesh was taken to custody on Monday, his arrest was registered only on Tuesday.
