Fake twitter news: Dileep files complaint




Kochi: Actor Dileep has lodged a complaint with the Kochi City Police Commissioner on Saturday alleging that attempts were being made to defame him through social media.


Social media was abuzz on Friday with reports of Dileep planning to marry actress Kavya Madhavan. 

Dileep clarified that he did not have a Twitter account and someone had spread the rumour through a fake account.

Though he has a Facebook account it is not managed personally, the actor added.

Kochi City Police's Cyber Cell has started investigation.
